Daily Duties at Illinois Central Bus Company:
I was hired in as a driver. Today I, aid in the selection of new drivers, help ensure regulatory requirements are kept, train new drivers, re train existing drivers if there was a safety concern, train and follow up on subordinate trainers, observe and correct unsafe behaviors, write monthly safety newsletters, contribute to monthly safety meetings, determine additional training needs. Experienced in setting goals and legal requirements, conduct new employee orientations, assist new hires in training and provide mentor assistance for new trainees
