Daily Duties at Verizon Communications:
Responsible for managing the Billing Application Production Support Team. This team was responsible for providing 24/7 support. The Billing System consisted of several hundred applications. Team was responsible for ensuring products were products prices, taxes, and formatting was correct on all bills. When the billing system goes down, that is a direct impact to Verizon receiving revenue on schedule. Also if a bill was off by 1 penny, my team would have to resolve that issue. I was also responsible for ensuring bills were printed and sent to post office. Also managed a production support team in the Philippines.
