Daily Duties at Us Army:
Responsible for the logistical, administrative, and fiscal management ($500K operating budget) of a 166 person unit. Directly supervised a multifunctional staff which covered all areas of operations to include human resources, security, training, logistics, and planning. Was responsible for the planning and execution of the Government Purchase Card and Government Travel Card programs. Conduct weekly training meetings, conduct weekly staff meetings, brief operations training and budget to superiors on a weekly and monthly basis. Conduct a monthly and quarterly training meeting. On a monthly basis conduct counselling with subordinates and be counseled by superiors. This identifies not only actions taken but also lists a road map ahead. Utilize composite risk management for all training and operational missions. Responsible for coordinating projects/activities in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. Coordinates day-to-day operations for all aspects of the department, including performance metrics, supply chain and vendors, project management Model behaviors consistent with an IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture Ability to utilize SharePoint sites, document management, act as expert resource and to train less experienced team members Interface with various internal departments and business units at all company levels. Play a key role in the overall Supply Chain Management continuous improvement strategic goals. Support project management on the day-to-day management of scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and communications. Project portfolio entails a rolling 12 month view of projects being worked across the department. administering projects or project management, budgeting and financial analysis, SharePoint utilization, document and knowledge management, supply chain and vendor management coordination program budget analytics (i.e. monitor and report plan vs. actual, resolve/explain variances), program performance metrics (i.e. reporting and analytics), and Program/project management
