Daily Duties at Point Pleasant Distributors:

. I instituted manager work withs for the entire day( worked with salesman from the start to finish of their day.) This assures me their seeing all the accounts. I communicated results and findings on my work with. Findings maybe lack of POS, lack of distribution. Lack of core sku's in certain key accounts. Create programs for key accounts for salesman, supervisor or mysef to sell in. For example the retail sampling program I created and managed with salesman .Managed the semi annual salesman review process which entails work with salesman to gauge their competency on distribution which I have capability on computer to show distribution gaps. also we gauge their performance on POS, pricing surveys, Draft beer surveys. Its critical to know where your business is or( who has taken it) in the marketplace daily not after 30 or 60 days or however you print your reports. managed trained supervisors in key account calls and ride withs,with their salesman. communicate results immediately. Worked with supervisors on the monthly MBO goal setting. We basicly ran reports on core sku's and matched them up to same sku's 1 year ago. any deficiencies were brought to the salesman immediately to rectify. Generally those deficient sku's became their goals for that month. we would pick 10-15 items depending on the month and we built the distribution rapidly for those items we identified. At times when we had a new product roll out which was almost every month with the rapidly changing buying habits of the consume,r we would ask for and get 350 new POD's (points of distribution) this is net new POD in a month. With the proliferation of brands and packages we had to embrace these lofty goals and see it thru from sell in, to sell through or you would lose credibility with your customer. Introduced new brands to sales team at our weekly meetings. I presented weekly as did supervisors. I am a very pro active manager with the ability to get into accounts immediately. In this industry if you wait to read your reports every 30 days you lose, some other product has taken your space and taking some of your sales. we were very proactive. I was known for identifying a weakness whether in my team or some other and proactively making this a positive. either by correcting my team or capitalizing on someone's mistake..High level of sales skills including proactively identifying and anticipating customer requirements, expectations and needs to effectively achieve win, win outcome. have high initative, results oriented resilience and tenacity to achieve aggressive goals.deal with customer resistance and to continue pursuing opportunities over extended periods. Highly effective at acquiring ,maintaining and applying thorough product/solution knowledge. Solid team leadership and teamwork skills.
