Daily Duties at Kingwood Medical Center:

Partnered with the Facilities Director to drive consistent operational efficiency, delivery of services, and equipment maintenance/functionality. Communicated extensively with hospital staff, departmental engineers/technicians, vendors, and contractors to prioritize service calls for continual operations in alignment with all departmental, state, and federal standards/regulations. Utilized the TMS system to manage data; produced a wide variety of statistical reports. Reduced operational costs by negotiating with various vendors/suppliers to secure improved pricing for critical supplies and equipment. Closely monitored all Life Safety and Fire Safety processes/procedures for organization-wide compliance. Maximized budget performance by reviewing, reconciling, and properly coding all department invoices. Prepared minutes for all facets of the facility in preparation for JCAHO audits.
