Daily Duties at Army Baylor University:
• One of the first Army civilians to participate in this military-run Masters Degree program, where I obtained both the Health Administration and Business Administration (MHA and MBA) Degrees. This program is specifically designed to prepare an employee to work in the hospital setting, with a focus on military health systems. • Utilized statistical analysis tools in order to offer complex data analysis support for strategic decision-making tasks in the WRAMC healthcare system. Examples of these tools include flow charts, Pareto charts, control charts, linear and multiple regression, and other tools used in Lean Six Sigma projects. • Integrated knowledge of marketing, strategy, management, contracting, negotiations, ethics, quantitative analysis, and research in the fulfillment of duties.
What they like about Army Baylor University:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
