Daily Duties at Walter Reed Army Medical Center:
• Detailed to TriCare Service Center at WRAMC from May 2011 to present to work on the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) of the Clinical Decision Support database so that it could transition during Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC), merging with the National Naval Medical Center to become the Walter Reed Army Medical Center Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda. • Detailed to Northern Region Medical Command (NRMC) from September 2010 to May 2011 to work as a program analyst on several realignment projects. • Transition of the Army Substance Abuse Program from the Medical Command to Installation Command. • Statistical and quantitative analysis of coding practices in NARMC Behavioral Health to identify common problems that result in financial errors. • Worked on Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Behavioral Health project begun as a healthcare administration resident and beyond for green belt. (Project abandoned after second attempt because it did not meet statistical goals.) • Qualitative study of employee orientation with root cause analysis, concluding in recommendations for strategic change to meet PCMH goals.
