Responsible for researching written requests and when necessary, re-underwriting the original file to determine whether submitted files adheres to Plaza Home Mortgage's credit policy and Agency guidelines. Adhere to all Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. fair lending practices. Responsible for reviewing information in the loan file and taking appropriate action to resolve deficiencies including requesting missing documentation from appropriate sources, utilizing online research tools, and determining alternative options, as examples. Was responsible for preparing a response to the written request, which may include an appeal, an impasse letter, or a request for reinstatement of MI. Respond to correspondent customer calls related to loan products, underwriting guidelines, loan scenarios, file status, etc.
