Daily Duties at Worldpay:
- Troubleshot web hosting and POS technical procedure - Resolved desktop support service tickets for desktops & - POS terminals due to a virus outbreak. Provided executive level support to merchant CEO’s, COO’s - Configured Laptops, Desktops, and Tablet computers for network access and security - Performed a critical data center walkthrough creating an updated detailed network topology map of the current network LAN & WAN infrastructure using Microsoft Visio 2007 Managed the Sonicwall Firewall access lists to block or allow websites and internet content - Supported DHCP, DNS and the dynamic delivery of IP Addresses to end client hosts - Manually configured static IP Addresses for end client hosts. - Provided hardware and software support for various applications Point of Sale terminals - Assisted the resident Network Manager with maintaining and upgrading network infrastructure including troubleshooting, rebooting hubs and switches, punching network and phone jacks, installing patch cables, turning up telco circuits and making network jacks live, installing windows updates & patches on Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, installing and swapping IP based digital and analog systems - Monitored technical support and customer service training programs. - Analyzed and negotiated contracts.
