Daily Duties at Us Navy Medical Readiness Division:
Senior Medical Inspector: Led a diverse, experienced, inspection team of 8 medical personnel, inspiring them to execute and achieve the organization’s role to ensure all medical facilities operated according to all governing directives and regulations. • Masterfully orchestrated and oversaw the completion of 525 inspections, technical assist visits, and quality assurance visits to ships medical departments to ensure compliance with all regulations leading to the safest and highest quality patient care; analyzed instructions and policies to ensure and coordinate the delivery of healthcare. • Simultaneously provided expert medical care and medical administrative services to the personnel of two warships in the unexpected loss of their Independent Health Care Providers. Conducting a daily Sick Call which entailed patient triage; obtaining history; taking vital signs, patient evaluation, patient diagnosis with differential diagnosis; formulating patient treatment plan to include patient education; prescribing, filling, and administering medications; documentation in electronic records. • Administratively reviewed all inspection reports and all administrative correspondence to ensure accuracy, completeness and only submitting the highest quality of work. • Generated numerous customized reports using clinical database management systems and Microsoft office programs.
