Coordinated and oversee daily operations of the Data Center, including management of operators schedules to ensure 24 x 7 on - call support. Provided technical assistance and improvements, fixes and upgrades relative to the company's customized software. Including third - party and the AS/400 operating systems. Managed the maintenance and support of several AS/400 systems and related peripherals domiciled at the corporate data center.• Administered and maintenance of AS/400 security and user profiles. Monitored jobs submitted by the job - scheduler (daily, weekly and monthly). Responsible for disaster recovery testing. Adhered to all end - user problems and escalated to the appropriate department. Worked with all levels of information systems department personnel to obtain, provide assistance and resolve malfunctions including the development team. Developed appropriate tape rotation schedule and monitor to ensure complete archiving, documentation, security and data recovery. Performed duties to include performance appraisals, coaching, interviewing and training. Worked with locale/remote office users at all levels of various corporate departments to troubleshoot, train and provide assistance. Provided guidance and input to the needs of the data center.
