Daily Duties at Ues, Inc:

• Develop new passivation technology for nano-Al powders. The new developed passivation technique could improve the energy density of passivated nano-Al by 20~30%; • Develop new high temperature superconductor sensor by integrating with CMOS on sapphire substrate; • Develop new generation protection coating for die casting molds. The serviced time of coated core pins is 3~4 times longer than current protection coating which used by Honda; • Develop new H2 separation ceramic membrane through PVD approaches; the hydrogen permeability is superior to Argon National Lab (ANL)’s samples; • Develop oxidation protection coating for C/C composite brake discs through PVD approach. The coating was evaluated by Goodrich and proved superior to current commercial coating. One patent has been applying; • Develop ion implantation technique for CZT single crystal smart cut, 10 micrometer film was successfully achieved with surface roughness less than 50nm; • Develop hydrophobic and hydrophilic coating based on atmospheric plasma technique
