Daily Duties at National Association Of Home Builders:
-Primary staff person for Architecture and Design Committee and its three subcommittees. Facilitate and manage all member programs and activities. -Solicit, review and manage approximately 150 educational submissions and work with member Design Education Subcommittee to select approximately 25 sessions for the Architecture, Design and Community Planning track for the annual International Builders Show. -Develop and identify programs with committee and secure speakers for all other Architecture and Design events and conferences. -Primary staff person that led a 5 person team to plan, organize and facilitate all Architecture and Design events, conferences and award programs. The team’s responsibilities include developing budgets, marketing strategy, sponsorship programs, promotional materials and meeting related communications and coordination. -Develop, manage and coordinate with staff content specialists for Land Development and Design Committee web pages on NAHB’s website. -Contributing writer and editor for Land Development Magazine and Nation’s Builders News online publication.
