Daily Duties at Briarcliffe College:
Delivers performance-focused direction in the coordination of 40 faculty members across all disciplines for the College’s online courses. Prepares and manages online instructional faculty budget; interview and recommend qualified candidates; direct the development of all faculty-related documents, agreements, schedules, and evaluation processes. Reconciles student enrollments and compiles detailed reports for Briarcliffe College Online for dissemination to key internal/external stakeholders. Key highlights • Ensures optimal instructional performance of the Healthcare Administration program and Business Administration and Liberal Arts courses by recruiting, interviewing, and recommending faculty candidates and subject matter experts. • Monitor the growth of the online program and develop strategies for faculty growth, course development, and system support. • Advise new student, register them for courses and serve as the point of contact for retention and technical issues. • Collaborates with the Director of Regulatory Compliance on the administration of all online compliance and accreditation activities, including self-study reporting, evaluation with accreditation standards, monitoring of state rules/regulations, creation of institutional assessment, and development of comprehensive plan for the Department of Online Programs. • Ensure compliance with all EEOC, ADA and Worker Compensation policies and procedures. • Collaborate with the Director of institutional Effectiveness to analyze, evaluate and develop retention strategies for students and faculty. • Facilitate faculty training for all new online faculty and develop and facilitate faculty development workshops to improve faculty development growth and student outcomes. • Enhances the effectiveness of the school’s various educational programs by reviewing online course content and spearheading curriculum development of new online courses. • Increases learning opportunities for online students by facilitating support services and tutoring in Math, English, Business and General Studies, and Healthcare. • Manages and maintains all online delivery systems for four(4)campuses and serve a CeCore system Registrar. • Supports student success through forecasting of system problems and providing technical support.
