Daily Duties at Trading Partners:
• Category manager role strategically sourcing indirect and direct categories for retail, manufacturing, and service industry clients • Advised stakeholders of savings opportunities; performed spend data analysis, process analysis, commodity research, ROI analysis and review of industry trends; tracked and analyzed over 25 commodities • Used sourcing tools, such as eAuctions, spend management and program analysis to save clients an average of 17% on categories such as MRO, electricity, natural gas, consumables, pallets and corrugated boxes • Negotiate with suppliers on terms of quote package and worked with clients on implementation strategies, reporting requirements, vendor scorecards and key performance indicators (KPI)
