Daily Duties at Navistar:

• Manage hedging, contracts and negotiations for copper, lead and aluminum with suppliers for all truck and bus manufacturing and all raw materials for engine manufacturing • Forecast, track and report raw materials using multiple data resources and support 17 category management teams (CMT) as subject matter expert (SME) of commodities; review any risks or opportunities to the business from existing suppliers and review/recommend all sourcing changes including raw material agreements (RMA) • Value stream mapping (VSM) of supply chain for raw materials; perform RFI’s and RFQ’s and also responsible for commodity relationships with over 70 truck and engine manufacturing suppliers • Cross functionally operate with engineering, finance and logistics to develop savings and sourcing
