Daily Duties at Cerner Corporation:

developed and sustained executive level relationships with clients who purchased multi-million dollar software enterprise solutions. turn around the access management solutions group to meet client expectations and increase sales. Total staff: 60 people I met with existing clients to understand where they were in the process of implementing cerner in their organizations; met with executive staffs, physicians and other department leaders. I had to then take those comments back to our engineers and others in our area to strategically establish our timelines and strategic plan of what the next quarter, year looked like as far as enhancements were. I took the strategic plan to the board for approval. Weekly meeting with the staff in each individual section of my operation, daily talked with engineers on progress. Monitored project plans, budget for each area, travel expenses I approved, met weekly with Cerner leadership to report on progress, issues, etc. Counsel employees, put them on development plans as necessary, hired staff, reviewed performance quarterly. I took all customer complaint calls and resolved those. Met with hospital users, scheduled and personally assisted hospital employees during software implementation; acting as the troubleshooter or there to give hands on expertise on how the software worked and remove any barriers. One aspect of my position was to remain on the national access organization board. I worked closely with JCAHO wo accrediates hospitals and physician practices so my job was to ensure were were following all the compliance regulations and keeping up with the insurance company requirements and make sure the clients were aware and making sure our software would meet the requirements that were constantly changing. Analyze current state driving results of reduced A/R, reduced denials, improved processes and re-design resulting in transforming healthcare. Directed $5M contract to lead software implemetation for large multi-system organizations. Create the clinical and financial value by improving and delivering a competitive advantage by implementing an integrated suite of solutions. Evaluate and deliver ROI benefits for all solutions resulting in reduced project expenses, increased client satisfaction and improved bottom line. Mentors associates; recognized as a leader who develops and facilitates staff development resulting in increased motivation, productivity and enhanced organizational performance. Assisted in developing the partnership and internal integration for the marketing and sales of a strategic alliance with InfoX resulting in our ability to provide for our clients the information to reduce the level of denials, penalities, etc.
