Daily Duties at Navfac Expeditionary Logistics Center:
Responsible for the development of cost-effective preventive maintenance documentation utilizing Reliability-Centered and Condition-Based Maintenance principles for a diverse inventory of over 20,000 pieces of automotive, medium-heavy truck, material handling, weight handling and construction equipment assets for the naval expeditionary enterprise. Provided technically accurate and cost-effective resolution to Maintenance Technical Feedback Reports received from fleet maintenance personnel. Served as a Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative and maintenance subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring the proper utilization of government funds, and that preventive maintenance documentation development work performed was within contract scope. Analyzed existing equipment maintenance documentation for applicability and effectiveness within a myriad of operational environments. Drafted, edited, and distributed expeditionary ground equipment and water craft maintenance and repair related periodicals both internal and external to the organization to ensure dissemination of current maintenance and logistics issues that impact equipment readiness. Provided information, advice, and logistics subject matter expertise to units on logistics and maintenance doctrine, policy, procedures, and directives applicable to automated logistics and maintenance management systems. Utilized both quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to measure product support planning and program execution effectiveness. Prepared reports and delivered high-level briefings concerning product support planning and program execution. Acted as New Procurement Team Leader, providing working level oversight, quality assurance and training to 3 subordinate Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives.
