Daily Duties at Navfac Expeditionary Logistics Center:

Actively led, mentored, coached, trained, and developed eleven senior life cycle logisticians, one senior equipment specialist, and three Active Duty Military to provide Life Cycle Logistics Support for Expeditionary Navy Equipment Acquisition Programs in the areas of Integrated Product Support Program Management, Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, and Distance Support. Responsible for all facets of branch management to include recruitment, performance management, discipline, application and interpretation of collective union bargaining agreements, resource management/allocation, individual development, and awards administration. The branch performed logistics supportability analyses to determine optimal ogistics requirements; acquire, field, and sustain logistics products; and coordinate integration of new surface craft and Expeditionary ground equipment into customer equipment allowances. Monitored product support program execution. Developed and analyzed branch processes, policies, and work plans to align them with customer requirements and the organization's strategic initiatives and vision. Examined process inputs, set process measures to leverage branch productivity and fleet readiness. Routinely received outstanding marks during command Inspector General evaluations. A lead member of a team responsible for awarding an innovative Integrated Product Support contract that cut the cost of PMS and Provisioning documentation by approximately 40%. Authored applicable sections of the Performance Work Statement and served on the Source Selection Board.
