Daily Duties at Cmc Media:

Architected web community platform designed to attract, engage and keep members on-site leveraging discussion forums, industry relevant articles and blogs, product reviews, user contributed resource , online peer groups, video library, live webcasts and interviews and a virtual trade show and conference. Designed and implemented innovative approaches to lead generation to deliver a constant flow of high value leads to over 500 sponsors. Performed or oversaw all aspects of community management, member acquisition and retention, business development, marketing and sales. Managed a team of local and remote engineers, designers, sales, support and video production while building out the product platform Acted as publisher and editor-in-chief of CM Journal, Agile Journal and Green Building Journal. Conducted live and recorded video interviews with industry thought leaders. Hosted and presented during webcasts, online conferences and trade shows. Launched and managed largest social network communities for change management and agile business. (CM Crossroads, Agile Journal) with total membership exceeding 1.2 million. Generated over $1.5 million in annual revenue. Supported the digital advertising efforts of over 500 sponsors while pioneering new and innovative lead generation products. Pioneered and designed large-scale virtual trade shows in 2004. Launched Agile Journal in 2005 as first online community and publication supporting Agile. Managed product development, editorial, video and sales staff, . Sold CM Crossroads and Agile Journal properties to SQE in 2010 for $2.4 Million.
