Daily Duties at Surgical Solutions, Inc.:

Responsible for working in the field with each sales rep to ensure they were maximizing their time in front of the surgeons, RNs, and techs by discussing all of SSI's product lines. Managed sales force pipeline and identified new sales trends, competitive threats, and sales force training of eight person sales team. Trained across all product lines to be able to discuss, set up, and competently and safely conduct intra-operative device evaluations in the ORs. Medical lines we had were: Zeiss Surgical Microscopes; Misonix UltraSonic Bone Scalpel for neuro-spine and orthopedic surgery; Misonix SonicOne Wound Debridement System; Hyalomatrix Burn Care system; Mizuho Neuro Surgical Instrumentation and Anuerysm Clip System; Elekta's Leksell Neurosurgical Sterotactic Navigation System, as well as a few other smaller medical device lines. I also served as the Misonix Expert Specialist for the Bone Scalpel. As a sales manager I stressed territory growth & optimization, targeting, and proper multi-line presentations. I identified areas of improvement with each rep and implemented or suggested corrective actions. I reported to the CEO of Surgical Solutions.

What they like about Surgical Solutions, Inc.:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
