Daily Duties at Boehringer Ingelhiem Vetmedica Inc.:
Responsible and accountable for the performance of two distinct 7 day / 24 hour animal vaccine manufacturing departments, producing a fill rate of 92 million vials annually and generating an estimated $500 million in product revenue per year with a mix of 42 salaried, non-exempt, and bargaining unit employees. Principal focus was to manage 85 vaccine formulations with countless market presentations, aseptic processing and filling, lyophilization, facilities maintenance, implement and support safety initiatives, improve customer service levels, quality assurance levels, training, validation, and budgetary spending/absorption as measured on weekly and monthly basis. Carried out management responsibilities through the planning, assigning, and directing of work, performance appraisals, rewards and discipline, and goal setting in accordance with corporate values and business objectives.
