Daily Duties at Verizon Communications:

Hardware/Asset Manager: My responsibilities included managing the allocation, transfer, procurement, and decommissioning of all Verizon Domestic Servers. This was across all Verizon US Data Centers. I supported IBM, Dell, HP, Fugitsu, as other brands of servers. I was responsible ensuring racks were built as well as entire racks were transferred. Tracked progress of all projects that required the transfer of hardware. Created work plans to support the closing of 2 Strategic Data Centers. Also create and execute work plans Tracked progress of all projects that required the transfer of hardware. Created work plans to support the closing of 2 Strategic Data Centers. Also - Provided Daily Status Report to Directors and VP's outlining progress of Hardware Transfer and Data Center Closing Projects. Another responsibility was • Maintaining Server and Virtual Memory Inventory by ensuring virtual memory inventory was adequate to support all strategic projects and servers were servers were onsite and ready for deployment. Responsible for working with team to implement ITAM Project. Also work with operations to test and implement HP DMI and DDM products.
