Daily Duties at George Washington University Hospital:

Assisted new residential physicians in selecting appropriate care management. Disbursed medications to ensure compliance with appropriate protocols, and review of medications to negate conflicts/medication errors. Provided education and comfort to family and patient concerning Plan of Care and associated issues. Assisted and educated patients in Pain Management principles to ease their recovery. I.V. insertion/replacement/care as needed. Central line/PICC-line care and management. Served as patient advocate to doctors and other health care professionals.
