Daily Duties at Pennknoll Village:
I directly supervise up to 5 LPNs and 9 CNAs on the 3-11 shift in a rehabilitation/ skilled nursing facility. I have limited supervisory capacity of the evening housekeeping and dietary staff. I complete advanced assessments on any of the 125 to 132 patients that reside in the facility, such as staging pressure ulcers, alerting the physician when one of his patients or the family of the patient, has concerns or needs a change in medical routines, or medications. I supervise the documentation of all doctor’s orders, with in my shift. I also complete the admissions process, discharge process, and transfer process for all patients on the 3-11 shift. Another duty is to ensure the correct ratio of nursing staff to patient, by getting replacements for staff that calls out for the upcoming shifts.
