Daily Duties at Brooklyn Rehabilitation Center, Inc.:
Managed a staff of 35 comprised of physical therapists, orthopedists, radiologists, technologists and support staff. ∙ Provided support to all clinical and non-clinical areas to ensure optimal levels of patient service. ∙ Collaborated with in-house staff to ensure efficiency; streamlined and documented procedures, policies and functions. ∙ Facilitated practice success and growth by cultivating staff's motivation and professional development; planned and launched marketing initiatives to build and increase client base. ∙ Oversaw the implementation of systems and equipment; established protocols for records retention and storage. ∙ Managed daily patient administration; investigated and resolved patient complaints and concerns. ∙ Oversaw all HR and benefit functions; served as 401K plan administrator and payroll coordinator. ∙ Participated in annual budget preparation covering staffing and expenses for multiple cost centers. ∙ Monitored equipment and supply inventory; sourced, evaluated and managed vendor relations, contracts and purchases. ∙ Responsible for negotiating, writing and generating a wide variety of contracts including: business associates, insurance coverage and fees for providers, outside vendors and contractors. ∙ Ensured that facility and practitioners were properly credentialed to comply with industry and insurance mandates. ∙ Generated aging reports; analyzed delinquencies and initiated appropriate level of collection activity.
