Daily Duties at Contra Costa County West Co.Detention:
As sole night shift nurse I provide care as needed for over 800 inmates. I'm responsible for any emergent situations, daily diabetic monitoring, any medications needed prior to court and any transfers in or out of our facility. Documentation of all pertinent events and conveying any patient needs to following shifts for monitoring. I took it upon myself to print and triage any patient appointments for next shift and help organize medication lists for medication nurses.
