Daily Duties at Corizon Health Care Alameda Sheriffs Dept.:

Management of inmate health, form basic check-ups to scheduled surgical interventions, documentation and implementation of care and outcomes and day to day health management such as medications, diabetic testing, monitoring vital signs etc. Mental health assessments and referrals to proper professionals are also key in our patients care. I receive and evaluate suitability of patient for incarceration in our facility based on patient condition and level of care required for individual inmate prior to them being admitted into our facility, and prepare transfers paperwork for inmates leaving to insure continuity of care
