Daily Duties at Psi:
As Director based in Maputo, responsible for all aspects of in country operations, including Team Leadership; Strategic Planning; Annual Budgets; Program Development, Implementation, and Evaluation; Financial Management; Human Resources; Organizational Development; External Relations; New Business Development; and Reporting. Particular challenge in Mozambique was to get funding from donors to launch major HIV/AIDS prevention program in country with 20 year civil war just ending and most aid focused on humanitarian relief and then to open up country office and launch program in timely manner.
