Daily Duties at Ge Water & Process Technologies:
• Position and sell customized solutions for clients to manage and optimize water resources and process challenges across industries and municipalities. Areas of focus are chemical treatment programs for boilers, cooling towers, waste water and industrial process water • Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences • Leverage chemical and engineering skills, customer focus and industry knowledge to drive new growth in Oregon and SW Washington territory • Initiate sales campaigns and follow marketing plan guidelines in order to meet sales and production expectations • Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations • Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications • Present information to customers about the energy efficiency or environmental impact of chemical products • Arrange for installation and testing of products and equipment • Provide customers with ongoing technical support and customer service
