Daily Duties at Us Army:
I was independently responsible for eligibility of basic enlistment and pre qualifying an individual for extension or immediate reenlistment. This enlistment or reenlistment is base on new prospect and current soldiers interested in reenlistment to prevent a break in service, extension to stay at current location, or re class to change job/duty responsibilities. Assigned to a specific school district to communicate to prospect on how to enlist in the US Army. After meeting with potential prospects in that particular school I would then assign them with a pre Army Service Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test to determined how well equipped the prospect was ready for the official ASVAB test. After reviewing the results of each prospect I would determine the needs for each student preparation for the official ASVAB test. This would include the specific areas needing improvement such as math and comprehension and provide all prospect with a study guide Base on the needs of individual prospect needing additional practice I would again coordinate an additional pre ASVAB test to assure a passing grade. After all prospect were prepared for the official ASVAB test I would communicate a specific date and personally pick up and transport all prospect to the official ASVAB testing location. After the prospect passed the ASVAB test I would schedule and communicate a specific date for the a medical examination and physical training test. For those failing prospect I would schedule and communicate a future ASVAB testing date. Base on the prospect ASVAB score I would them access what job the prospect qualified for. Once the prospect picks a specific job/duty then I would prepared them for their ship date to Basic Training. Preparation includes a specific list of items which the prospects need to provide and discuss a list of items the US Army will provide. Attend weekly meetings to focus on goals and share ideas.
What they like about Us Army:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
