Daily Duties at Afton Chemical:
The Global Quality and Manufacturing Excellence team’s focus was to establish critical cross functional process and KPI's that drove the company towards growth and profitability through increased quality/brand loyalty and improved efficiency of operation. Focusing on critical work processes ( New Product Development, Management of Change, Customer Issue Resolution, Manufacturing Non Conformance processes), and Lean principals we improved the efficiency of the operation and quality of the products globally. We established strong global and cross functional teams and supported them with work process training, project management training, problem solving and strong statistical tool training, including Multivariate Statistical Process Control. We also significantly improved data collection and analysis by implementing a global data structure and a global data historian.
