Daily Duties at Convergys Corporation:
Supported more than 500 employees ensuring quality customer service in a technological environment. Responsible for full scope of HR functions, including, hiring, employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits and leadership for managers in federal and state employment regulations and laws. Executed work force reduction, developed severance packages and closed the contact center site. Leader of employee relations including, benefits for 1300 employees, concerns relating to all aspect of HR including recruiting, developing and writing job descriptions and HR policies, compensation, conduct, leaves of absence, WC, unemployment, and payroll issues. Business partner for management in performance management, safety, strategic management, extensive experience working with attorneys on legal issues. Leader in ramp-up of contact center and key contributor in action plans for corporate directives. Promoted employee relations initiatives, including employee morale building. Successfully maintained non-union working environment by implementing union avoidance campaign. Conducted orientations, training programs, focused on positive customer service, retention, team building and led safety committee meetings.
