Daily Duties at University Of Mn Physicians Imaging Center:
Performed quality control/audits, work with front desk/Radiologists/Technologists, ensure proper documentation.Responsible for the administration, daily maintenance and troubleshooting of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System. Participates in the development of PACS and other system training along with the Imaging Center Tech Manager. Provides training and applications support for Imaging Center Staff, Radiologists/Residents, referring Physicians, as well as other UMP identified customers. Participates in the coordination of and expansion of the system to new customers and additional modalities. Acts as a liaison and participating member of the Information Management PCS/RIS team. Is responsible for the training of and competency check of the Radiology Coordinators that provide support to the radiologists in the reading room. Performs related special projects as assigned by the Medical and Operations Directors.
