Joined the newly formed private reit as CEO as part of the acquisition in 2007 by Apollo Global Management, a private equity fund that acquired the Innkeepers USA trust portfolio in 2007 for 1.6b. Direct responsibility for the portfolio of 64 hotels including 300m in topline revenue and 110m in EBITDA. Also responsible for managing 170m in pips, product improvement plans as part of the initial sale. Reported up quarterly to a board of directors in NYC on our operating results.
