Daily Duties at Walgreens:
• Managing Split case operations. Leading the Team to pick and fill orders in safe, lean, cost effective, timely manner. • Train, develop and mentor the team to achieve above and beyond the desired results. • Plan execute and report the daily achievements to the higher management, peers and all concerned. • Post daily and weekly productivity and accuracy rates and other Key Performance Indexes. • Engage with customers and innovate to exceed their expectations. • Collaborate with others and align my actions with others to achieve beyond the desired results for the DC. • Monitor following of all safety, standard operating and statutory procedures. • Give constructive feedback, Coach and discipline those not meeting the expectations. • Maintaining the work area above the food safety (AIB) guidelines by following 5S+1. • Managed different departments in the DC like Receiving, Full Case, Split Case, shipping. • Studied/Monitored the product flow, inventory control, Order fill, using MS office, AS400 , file maker pro and other databases. • Always exceeded the safety, accuracy and productivity expectations by monitoring and working well within the budget. • Improved Stocking accountability process and productivity. • Improved as a team on Accuracy to an all time high average of > 98%. • Worked 2 assignments of 1 month and 2 months Helping and Training of Split Case 1st Shift Function Managers. • Improved productivity, accountability and manpower utilization.
