Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente:

In this position I was given full responsibility to develop a plan that would address the need to provide our members with an efficient and effective process in getting their short-term disability paperwork, long-term disability paperwork and FMLA paperwork to their providers in order to ensure that the time sensitive information was filled out accurately and with integrity to ensure that our members where receiving their benefits from their third party adjudicators in a timely fashion. This project required a strong grasp on the development of excel spreadsheet creation, that would track information such as what day the form arrived, all the way through completion. This role lead to the creation of the "Forms Processing Department," within Kaiser Permanente which is a department that now handles all third party paperwork for our members ensuring that all documents are filled out and returned in a timely fashion in order to provide the best service for our members.
