Daily Duties at United States Special Operations Command:
Hand-picked by Special Operations Command Program Executive Officer to lead key Special Operational Forces ISR (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) mission in Afghanistan. -Drove critical solution for high priority operations during surge operations in afghanistan -Managed 300+ employees and $1+ billion budget while deployed in Afghanistan -Responsible for ensuring combat commanders were aware of the technology, functionality, maintainability, and risks associated with the deployment and present state of Special Operations Command aircraft -Responsible for logistics (to include transportation, maintenance, and personnel) of over 200 Special Operations Command aircraft -Responsible for assisting combat commanders in mission executions and ensuring that specific assets were in place, on time, and working to help execute and achieve mission goals -Responsible for maintaining Special Operations airborne and personnel operational security -Responsible for the operational health of over 10 remote sites in Afghanistan where Special Operations airborne assets were operating -Responsible for and conducted relocation logistics of one major Special Operations asset site from one remote country of operations into Afghanistan -POC for SORDAC-FW operations in Afghanistan- maintained clear communications with operations and command back in the United States -Nightly presentations to command on overall status of Special Operations airborne fleet and future outlooks, risk, and mission completion status. -Effectively utilized, negotiated, delegated resources in fast-paced, diverse, and international/combat environment
