Daily Duties at Prince George's County Public Schools :
- Assists in the implementation of content area curriculum, instruction, and classroom management of materials for elementary, middle and high school students; - Coordinates both short and long-range planning for the improvement of the program; - Participates in student/teacher or parent/teacher conferences as needed; - Acts as a mediator for parent concerns between administration and parents; - Collects, analyzes, and reports school data to school and district-level administrators as requested; - Applies a variety of instructional theories and models, incorporating best practices, student-centered learning and differentiated instructional approaches for the success of all students; - Attends meetings as appropriate for district / building facilitation; - Actively seeks the involvement of parents in the work of schools and school improvement, and provides appropriate guidance, oversight, and monitoring of services to all students and families; - Observes and evaluates classroom teachers; and - Performs other duties as assigned.
