Daily Duties at Lake Placid Summit Hotel And Suites:

Control flow of outlet by seating guests in each section by rotation. Responsible for assigning and managing all opening and/or closing side duties. Assist with outlet scheduling and coverage.Conduct on a daily basis stand up meetings. Participate and lead ongoing training of colleagues to ensure that colleagues continue to meet and improve their performance as set by the company service standards. Recognize outstanding performance and handle discipline as per standard operating procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the hiring, training and developing of hourly team members to build cross functional knowledge of operational processes, industry standards and emerging technologies. Accountable for ongoing feedback and performance reviews of all hourly and seasonal employees in your assigned area. Responsible for acting fairly, consistently and legally when identifying what disciplinary action is appropriate. Knowledgeable of policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures. Responsible for understanding the roles & responsibilities of direct reports and ensuring they understand how their role contributes to the success of the company. Assists with ensuring that safety and security standards are adhered to and that employees are properly trained in current position and knowledgeable of the company's Safety Plan and Injury and Illness Prevention Program. Works collaboratively with internal team leaders to promote the Fun and Games program and be able to articulate to F&B employees the Canterbury Parks customer service philosophy. Responsible for preparing hourly employees schedules to accommodate business needs while managing employee breaks, shift changes, & shift meetings. Ensures that all food and beverage locations are stocked with an adequate supply of operational essentials Assist Senior Manager in keeping operating costs to a minimum by efficient and responsible use of resources which includes managing labor cost. Oversees maintenance of inventory control procedures and maintains and safeguards the inventory of products, supplies and equipment. Increase guest satisfaction level by delivering an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image. Analyzes customer compliments and complaints and follows up on them. Assist the Executive Chef in analysis of the production of new menu items and completely new menus. Ensuring price changes are properly reflected throughout the building when applicable. Continually monitor activities of staff to ensure efficient operation; which includes sets up floor assignments, early releases, and section rotations for staff to ensure proper coverage at all times. Assists in optimizing beverage selections, promotions and on floor sales tactics. Orders supplies as necessary. Disseminate company wide information to front-line employees to ensure they are kept well-informed of corporate communications, policy changes, etc. Perform other duties as assigned
