Daily Duties at Fundamental Brokers:
Primary role is to write and book trade tickets. When a trade has been agreed up between us (the brokers) a buyer and a seller, I then take the agreed upon spread and run a Yield Analysis on the spread and use the appropriate treasury to calculate the price. Once the price has been determined I send a Trade Recap or Vcon (virtual confirmation) to the customer and pending their approval, I then book the trade into our system for execution. Other roles included brokering with customers such as JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse among many, to execute trades generating over $30 million in commissions from 2010-2013 alone. Generated the daily PnL which detailed the daily trades executed along with the resulting commissions from each trade.
