Daily Duties at Jewell Attachments:
Lead engineering staff, product rationalization, identify and recruit talent, develop existing talent. Identified and lead standardization activities to support overseas sourcing goals. Termination of non productive staff. Engineering Standards Development, PDM Implementation. Fast paced custom engineering, with 3 day to 3 week design cycles on boom assemblies up to 182' tall. OEM design times would be 1 to 2 years. Drove releases to have fully detailed prints for every component. Retained staff in very low revenue year of 2009, just after laying off 3 engineers.
