Daily Duties at Emory Healthcare:
Liaison between the employee, physician, and the employer to coordinate an injured workers’ return to a safe and productive work environment. •Managed and coordinated workers’ compensation claims in conjunction with Emory claims third party administrator. •Evaluated and managed a monthly employee injury / illness caseload of 70-80 clients. •Maintained compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) federal guidelines for Emory Hospital, affiliated Emory clinics, and Emory University. •Provided assistance to Human Resources for Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and long-term disability issues in regards to workers’ compensation.
