Daily Duties at Us Army:
Managed the U.S. Army ground forces data network for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Network consisted of over 120 routers. Troubleshot end-to-end systems data communications. Significantly improved network health using network monitoring and analysis tools HP Openview, SNMPC, What’s Up Gold. Managed all aspects of a 1000-user Windows 2000/Exchange network. Led, trained, and mentored 5 system administrators. Managed an organization-wide client PC upgrade to include the design, consulting for procurement, configuration, and issue of over $.4 million of client workstations. Developed and installed data backup and recovery system for organization’s email and files storage. Supervised the upgrade of the organization’s server farm, improving power availability, storage capacity, efficiency, and reliability. Directed the organization-wide migration from Windows 98/NT to Windows 2000
