Computer Operator/Telecommunications Operator San Vito IT Air Station 1990-1992 Work at this Systems Security Group Communication center involved SBI security clearance for sending, receiving, routing high security level messages to and from DOD organizations worldwide. Dealt with all phases of security, troubleshooting computer, OCRs, Printers, Mainframes and peripheral devices. Managed a staff of three. USAF Information & Satellite Systems Compute Operator Onnizuka A.F. Satellite Trackng Facility Sunnyvale Ca 1984-1990 Work involved Secret security clearance in operation of Varian 75 mainframe computer system that received and transmitted tracking, commanding and telemetry data in support of DOD satellite programs. Responsible for coordination of computer operational support requirements, recognition,documentation and resolution of computer malfunctions, and maintenance of system logs, records and supplies. Accuracy rate of nine consecutive months of error-free performance in over 40,000 satellite contacts. Equipment worked on Card Punches, Card readers, Strip charts, Tape drives, Disc drives.
