Owned and operated general construction company with 6 figure income along with purchasing and managing 54 apartment units and numerous real estate investments. Managed a, $1,000,000.00 wind farm development. Led the construction of numerous new home construction and remodeling projects. Constructed strip mall center, TI shopping centers, medical center, brewery and sports court. Trained and mentored construction workers, general laborers and apprentices. I managed a team of 20+ employees as well as sub-contractors. Qualified competitive subcontractor bids prior to execution of contracts. Obtained Notices of Completion and Compliance Certifications from all of the construction administration consultants. Acted as the liaison between architects, engineer, building departments, landscape architects, associations, commissioners and property owner. Assigned projects and tasks to employees based on their competencies and specialties. Followed through with competent execution of project plans by providing proper tools and equipment to all construction personnel. Performed construction site pre-inspections and coordinated post-construction audits. Efficiently recorded and rejected incorrect deliveries of material to site. Monitored the safety of all construction activities, making on-site personnel safety the top priority. Led and managed resolution of all issues during project construction and commissioning phases. Coordinated training for the construction teams on site-specific requirements, techniques and procedures. Led the planning, budgeting and direction of all construction projects. Properly maintained all on-site tools, equipment and vehicles. Design, bid, material acquisition and project supervision along with hands-on participation were all part of my responsibilities. I obtained "Sign Off" of all agencies, personnel and sub-contractors.
