Daily Duties at Wells Fargo Bank, Na:
Review, analyze, approve, and underwrite difficult, most complex individual consumer request and products within company and industry guidelines. Review financial statements, credit reports, appraisal reports, and applicable ratios (i.e. Debt Ratios, loan to value). Evaluate; examine transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness; prepare formal reports for review; ensuring that documents are consistent. Implement fraud detection techniques, performing compliance reviews; assisting with re-negotiations of loan based on lending guidelines. Contact customers and partners to gather information to make appropriate decisions, and explain rationale behind credit decision. Handle escalated calls, second level reviews, and provide work direction. Training to Underwriting Staff, including coaching lower level Underwriters on underwriting decisioning, department procedures and policies.
