Daily Duties at Internal Revenue Service :
As a contractor IT Desktop Support Technician at the Internal Revenue Service, I was hired to receive and ship equipment to the different buildings in the area and over the years I was promoted to be a desktop support technician and actually I am a member of a high performance team of 20 technicians of the Migration refresh Windows XP, windows 7 project to upgrade 200 end-users. As a member of the Refresh Project I provide direct assistance to end users on IT systems and applications to support the IRS mission. I Provide technical support to customers, advice and train them in applying hardware and software solutions, minimizing interruptions and satisfying their expectations. I apply new methods to resolve complex and unexpected issues and problems we might have and keep management informed of progress on any controversial matters that might arise.
