Daily Duties at A.M. Haire:

Created a Customer Vendor base for trucks on the production line with contact person availability. Evaluated Vehicle Production Status and compared with Customer promised delivery dates. These dates never were compatible or close to promise dates. This taught me to get a early jump on contacting customers and getting them ready for a date that was beyond the promised shipment dates. Customer Service became my major focus because we need them for all repeat business. I also had to map the delivery route of each vehicle to be shipped. Employed 15 drivers/two mechanics/ and a chase car hook up driver. Some had to drive and fly back/some could have chase cars hooked up to the vehicle if it took ten hours or less to deliver. Some had to drive the vehicle to deliver and come back by bus or train. all routes were documented with cost associate with each trip-this help me to use the same routes of transportation and negotiate cost from previous trips. This helped sales to give a appropriate cost for delivery of trucks to customers. I have to maintain all chase cars to DMV regulations/service/maintenance/ and insurance coverage for drivers and vehicles. Monitor different type of CDL class licenses for different trucks to be delivered. Document all accidents and investigate all complaints from customers. Warranty issues were kept in Transportation as well. I made a decision in relation to the warranty and found a truck shop to repair if pricing was far/or send a shop foreman to repair the truck at the customers location of vehicle. All vehicles have a warranty. Warranties are granted according to the structure/mechanical and electrical make-up of the vehicle. Responsible for all time cards for each team member for payroll. Responsible for all cash disbursements to drivers delivering vehicle. Expense reports delivered to Accounting weekly. Budgets turned in weekly for prior shipment for upcoming delivery schedules. Final inspection of trucks before released for delivery.
