Daily Duties at Target Corporation:
• Manage annual budgets, costs, schedules, projected sales, and evaluate financial performance to ensure store profitability through strong routines and follow up. • Lead personnel selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development of employees as well as conducts management reviews • Ensure that stock inventory is maintained and correct auditing procedures are followed • Lead and trained employees on food safety processes such as receiving and stocking to ensure food quality is compliant • Lead procedures to identify, correct and create action plans to eliminate compliance errors; communicated corrected errors with third party food safety vendor • Responsible for ensuring employees and leadership members were trained on up-to-date receiving, shipping and handling procedures to remain compliant with environmental regulations. • Ensure compliance to health and safety standards maintained by the employees. • Responsible for managing 125 employees. Promoted 10 assistant managers within district. • Train staff on all new company initiatives created to increase stocking productivity • Identify potential shortage concerns relating to receiving of good as well as vendor credits and taking appropriate partners to ensure action is taken to address any shortage according to company best practices. • Utilize tools, intelligence and equipment to evaluate priority cases with the greatest financial impact.
